Biography

H.G. Bhaktivedanta Yogacharya Ramananda Swami Maharaja is a distinguished Spiritual Master. She was born in Massachusetts, USA, on April 13, 1973. In 1994, she had her first encounter with Prabhuji in Israel and instantly identified in him her master. She was formally initiated in the same year, adopting the life and principles of a monastic disciple. For more than three decades, she has followed with rigor and devotion the teachings of Prabhuji, to which she relates in a direct and personal way. By Prabhuji’s express directive, she was given the honor of being one of the few four Master Acharyas, and entrusted with the responsibility of preserving his message in its entirety.
As one of Prabhuji’s closest and most faithful monastic disciples, she served as his personal secretary for two decades. She holds a preeminent position within the executive circle of the Sacred Sangha of the Prabhuji Mission. Her reputation as a lecturer is undeniable, and she is recognized for her extensive proficiency in Prabhuji’s written works.
In addition to her duties at Prabhuji’s Gifts, she holds editorial roles at the Prabhuji Journal, and directs and oversees the “Prabhuji Food Distribution Program” and the “Prabhuji Toy Distribution” initiative.
Mataji, being the most senior and renowned monastic disciple within the Ramakrishnananda Monastic Order, possesses unparalleled esteem. Her diligent spirit, her unbroken eagerness to serve humanity, her constructive and humble attitude, as well as her undeniable level of consciousness are sources of enlightenment and inspiration.
